DESCRIPTION: Beautifully manufactured .38 Military Model 1902 Colt semi-auto pistol. 6 inch long barrel. 8 round magazine. Spur hammer. Conventional retraction grips on the slide. Right side of the slide is marked: "Automatic Colt Calibre 38 Rimless Smokeless" (in two lines). Left side of the slide is marked: "Patented Apr. 20, 1897. Sept. 9, 1902" (in two lines) and "Colt's Pt. F. A. Mfg. Co. Hartford, CT. USA." (in two lines). The rear part of the left side of the slide displays "Rampant Colt". All matching serial numbers. Correct blue magazine. Correct diamond checkered black hardened rubber grips with "Colt" name and "Rampant Colt". The right side of the barrel displays British proof marks, "Crown over V" and "Crown over CP". These are the late 1920-s markings, usually found on handguns sold in the Great Britain as military surplus. Many M.1902 pistols were shipped to the Great Britain during the World War One. Some pistols of this type were privately purchased by British officers in the early 20th century. All these pistols have seen service with British military during the Great War. The pistol is a larger and heavier version of otherwise similar .38 Sporting Model 1902. The major difference is a higher capacity magazine (8 versus 7 rounds), and an added lanyard ring on the left side of the grip. Only 200 of such pistols were bought by the US Army for evaluation, but large number was sold commercially. The total production was about 18.000 pistol. This model remained in production till 1929. CONDITION: Low excellent. 94% of original blue finish is still on metal. Most of the blue wear is on the edges of the slide. Excellent bore with strong and shiny rifling. Perfect mechanical condition. All the markings and numbers are clearly visible on the metal. All the internal parts of the pistol are in excellent condition, with no visible wear. DESCRIPTION: Nicely preserved British World War Two military issue Colt Official Police revolver! The left side of the frame displays British government inspection and acceptance markings (between the hammer and cylinder, please, see pictures). The revolver displays Colt logo, "Rampant Colt". The left side of the barrel is marked, "Colt Official Police 38". The upper part of the barrel displays standard Colt address with patent's dates. Matching serial numbers. Six round cylinder. Fixed sights. The revolver was manufactured without the lanyard ring. Barrel length: 4 inches. Well built, large frame military style revolver. Very high quality of machining and metal finish! Colt Official Police was introduced in 1927. During the Second World War Britain purchased some quantities of this revolver. Created in 1939, the British Purchasing Commission was in charge of these acquisitions. Most of these purchases were covered by separate contracts, but some were covered by Lend-Lease agreement. As the situation was getting more desperate during the Battle of Britain, the revolvers were purchased not just from the manufacturer, but also from British and American retailers. Most of these revolvers were issued to the Home Guard, some were supplied to the Special Operations Executive and other military organizations. CONDITION: Excellent, with 97% of crisp, original blue on metal. The revolver shows only an honest service wear. The left side of the frame shows some light scratches. Excellent bore with strong and shiny rifling. Excellent cylinder's chambers. Very nice hardwood grips with diamond checkering and with "Colt" logo on both sides. Perfect action. DESCRIPTION: Scarce British World War One six-shot revolver. The gun is a Spanish-made copy of the hinged-frame Smith & Wesson that was built to prevent shortage of handguns in the British army during the World War One. Manufactured by Garate, Anitua Y Cia in Eibar, as indicated by markings on the barrel. Garate was one of the three Spanish gun makers to receive contracts from the British army during the First World War. British acceptance proofs are stamped on all major parts of the revolver. Hardwood grips with diamond checkering. In 1921 the revolvers of this type were declared obsolete by British military and were transferred to different police forces. Complete with the lanyard ring. The maker initials, "GAC" along with wording, "Marca Registrada" are stamped on the right side of the frame. Many revolvers of this type were used by British military in Europe during the World War One. They were reliable and relatively inexpensive. CONDITION: Fine+ to low excellent. 92% of original blue finish. The balance is turning to brownish color. Some light patina on the hilt. Excellent bore with strong and shiny rifling. Excellent cylinder's chambers. Very tight action. All the markings and numbers are clearly visible on metal. Hardwood grips with diamond checkering are showing some minor handling marks. The brown horn grips with diamond checkering display maker's initials, "OH". The same maker initials, along with wording, "Trade Mark" are stamped on the right side of the frame. Many revolvers of this type were used by British military in Europe during the World War One. They were reliable and relatively inexpensive. DESCRIPTION: Impressive large frame double action English revolver. The revolver is almost identical with military Adams Mark III. The major difference is a lack of the Roman numeral, "III" on the right side of the frame just in front of the cylinder. Mechanically, Model 1872 revolver was similar to Model 1867, except for the new ejector system. The top of the octagonal barrel displays following wording, "ADAMS'S PATENT SMALL ARMS CO.. 391, STRAND, LONDON". Right side of the frame is marked, "ADAMS'S PATENT", and, "JA TRADE MARK". Several English proofs are stamped on the frame, barrel and cylinder. Octagonal barrel. Six shot cylinder. The cylinder and frame show matching serial numbers. No serial numbers are visible on other external parts of the revolver. Barrel length: 6 inches. Very nice one piece hardwood grip with diamond checkering. The revolver has all blue finish, except for the hammer and ejector that have polished steel finish (now covered with brown patina). Complete with the lanyard ring. CONDITION: Overall in fine condition with about 85% of original finish turning to uniform brown patina. Occasional peppering and/or light surface rust. No pitting of any kind. Some light dings and scratches are visible on the cylinder and on the cylinder bridge. One piece grip with diamond checkering is in excellent condition. The double action works fine. The single action does not work - the hammer does not stay cocked. Fine bore with strong rifling. The cylinder chambers are also in fine condition. Serial# 58XX. DESCRIPTION: Scarce Chilean navy contract Astra M.1921 semi-automatic pistol. The Chilean navy ordered only 842 of Astra M. 1921 pistols in 1930. The pistol displays a Chilean Star and wording, "Marina de Chile" on the upper/front part of the slide (please, see pictures). The upper/rear part of the slide displays company address, "Esperanza y Unceta, Guernica, Espana. Pistola de 9m/m. Modelo 1921". The upper/front part of the slide also displays the Astra logo. All matching serial numbers. Correct magazine with Astra logo on its floorplate. Original hard rubber grips with diamond checkering. High quality of machining. No import markings. Very impressive design! CONDITION: Fine, with 78% of original blue finish still on the metal, with the balance turning to brownish color. Some light patina on the hilt. The pistol shows an honest holster wear on the edges of the slide and frame. Strong action. The grips shows some light wear and handling marks. The bore is in excellent condition with strong and shiny rifling. All the markings and numbers are clearly visible on the metal. DESCRIPTION: Scarce Chinese Tokarev Type 54 military semi-automatic pistol. The pistol was manufactured in Mukden, Manchuria in 1966 as indicated by the arsenal code, "66" and a date stamped on the left side of the frame. The top of the slide displays, "Type 54" markings in Chinese characters. Original black plastic grips with a Chinese Star on both sides. Seven round magazine. Complete with a lanyard loop on the left side of the hilt. Matching serial numbers except for the magazine. The TT-33 pistol was designed by a famous Soviet designer Fyodor V. Tokarev, and was adopted by almost all countries of the Eastern Bloc. TT-33 is a well made, reliable pistol, tested in many conflicts around the world. CONDITION: Fine to low excellent. 93% of original blue is still present on metal. The blue is worn mostly on the edges of the slide. There is some pitting and some scratches on the front/lower part of the slide (please, see pictures). There is also one, a very small spot of pitting on the left/rear part of the slide. The black plastic grips show a couple of small chips. Bore is in excellent condition, with strong and shiny rifling. Strong action. All the markings and numbers are clearly visible on the metal. All the internal parts of the pistol are in excellent condition, with no visible wear. No import markings. The pistol is in all original, military configuration without the commercial safety lever. DESCRIPTION: Chinese Copy of Browning 1900 semi-auto pistol. The pistol shows "Mauser Banner"(!) and wording "Brevetes GDC"on the left side of the frame. These markings usually do not make much sense, as they seem to be a combination of different European words. It is not unusual to find Chinese copies of FN M.1900 pistols with Mauser markings. Chinese gun makers found these markings to be very attractive... The left side of the slide displays a wording, "Nationale". The frame, slide and rear sight display fake Belgian proof marks. All the markings on metal are clear. The pistol has a safety lever on the left side of the frame. Matching serial numbers. All complete and original. CONDITION: Fine+. The pistol shows 85% of original, high gloss blue finish on metal parts. The balance is in white, mixed with some brown patina. Nice, original hardwood plastic grips with with diamond checkering. Action seems to be OK. Good bore. All the markings and numbers are clearly visible on the metal. All the internal parts of the pistol are in fine condition, with no visible wear. No import markings. DESCRIPTION: Browning designed military semi-automatic pistol. Manufactured for the Dutch army at the FN factory in Belgium in 1920/1930. The upper part of the slide displays a very nice "Crown over W" (a Dutch Queen Wilhelmina initial). The left side of the slide shows the maker's markings, "Fabrique Nationale D'Armes De Guerre Herstal Belgique, Browning's Patent Depose". Belgian proofs are present on all major metal parts. Nice, original dark brown hardened rubber grips with "FN" logo and diamond checkering. M.1922 Browning pistol was exceptionally popular, with large commercial, police and military contracts worldwide. This model was famous for its reliability and long service life. The pistol was manufactured with the grip safety. Magazine capacity is eight rounds. The upper part of the slide shows a loaded chamber indicator. CONDITION: Fine+. 92% of original blue finish is still on the metal. Light holster wear to the front part of the slide. The bore is in fine condition with strong and shiny rifling. Strong action. DESCRIPTION: Scarce Egyptian military contract Beretta M.1951 semi-automatic pistol. The pistol is also known as "Brigadier". Left side of the slide displays following markings, "Modello 1951 Cal. 9 mm Para, P. Beretta 1955" and a crest of Egypt. Eight round magazine. Two piece, black plastic grip with diamond checkering and Beretta logo. Matching serial numbers. Very high quality of machining and metal finish! Model 1951 was adopted as a service pistol by Italy, Egypt, Israel, Nigeria and some other countries. The Egyptian version of Beretta M.1951 was also built under the license by the Egyptian State Factory in Port Said under the name "Helwan". The latter has never shown the quality of the original, Italian made M.1951... Only Egypt and Iraq purchased license to manufacture Beretta M.1951 pistols under the names, Helwan and Tariq, respectively (some Tariq pistols were captured in Iraq and brought to the USA by returning soldiers). CONDITION: Excellent+, as arsenally refurbished. 99% of finish still on the metal. All the markings and numbers are clearly visible on the metal. All the internal parts of the pistol are in excellent+ condition, with no visible wear. The plastic grips are in excellent condition as well, with a couple of minor handling marks. The grips are probably a period replacement as French post-war contract pistols had originally hardwood grips. M.1922 Browning pistol was exceptionally popular, with large commercial, police and military contracts worldwide. This model was famous for its reliability and long service life. The pistol was manufactured with the grip safety. Magazine capacity is nine rounds. The upper part of the slide shows a loaded chamber indicator. The pistol comes with a military issue brown leather holster and two spare magazines. The holster's style and the pistol's serial number may indicate that the rig was a part of the post-war French military contract. CONDITION: Excellent. 95% of original blue finish is still on the metal. The balance is in white. Typical holster wear to the front part of the slide. The bore is in excellent condition with strong and shiny rifling. Strong action. Matching serial numbers. All the markings and numbers are clearly visible on the metal. DESCRIPTION: The revolver was made by Manufacture Francaise d'Armes et Cycles de Saint-Etienne, as indicated by markings on the right side of the frame. The right side of the frame also shows the French National Police issue markings, "PN 72" (please, see pictures). The left side of the frame displays following markings, "Brichet B-te Nantes" and "L" in the shield. This is a typical French police revolver from the early 20th century. Le Municipal was introduced in 1906, and was purchased by many French police organizations. The revolver was built in 8 mm French caliber (1892), which was used at the time by the French military. Matching serial numbers. Six round cylinder. Hardwood grips with diamond checkering. 3.5 inch long octagonal barrel. CONDITION: Fine. 70% of original blue finish is still on the metal. Some blue finish is turning to brownish color. Original hardwood grips with diamond checkering show minor handling marks. Strong action. Mechanically, the revolver is in fine condition. The bore is in fine condition with strong and shiny rifling. The cylinder chambers are in excellent condition. All the internal part of the revolver are in fine condition with no visible wear. DESCRIPTION: Spanish made World War One French military contract "Ruby" type semi automatic pistol. The French military bought Ruby pistols off the shelf in 1915. The pistol was manufactured by Fabrica De Martin a. Bascaran, Eibar, as indicated by markings on the left side of the slide. Blowback design based on John Browning's FN/Colt M.1903. Wooden grips with diamond checkering. Nine shot magazine. The Martin a. Bascaran markings, "MB" inside the oval are stamped on the left grip tang and on the floorplate of the magazine. These are the French WWI contract magazine interchangeability proofs (see: "Spanish Handguns" p.243). French contract "Star" proof marks are stamped on the grip, on both sides of the magazine release. Gene Gangarosa Jr. lists this model as one of the pistols supplied to the French forces during World War One. Complete with a military style lanyard ring on the left side of the grip. CONDITION: Excellent, with 96-97% of original blue still on the metal. Most of the finish wear is on sharp edges of the slide. Strong action. Very nice hardwood grips with some minor handling marks. Bore is in fine condition, with strong and shiny rifling. The barrel shows mismatched serial number (unless this is some kind of the assembly number; quite often the barrels for Ruby pistols were manufactured by subcontractors).
